A preview of a new range of designer dolls to be auctioned to raise money for Starship's Radio Lollipop charity was held at Jerry Clayton BMW in Takapuna on Wednesday.
Ten porcelain dolls, each 97cm high, are part of teh Bella Collectibles exhibition and were made by Dunedin doll manufacturer Jan McLean. The dolls were dressed by New Zealand designers Mingwei Li, from Sabatini; Tanya Carlson, from Carlson; Cara Cotton, from Cherry Cotton Candy; Helen Talbot; Jane Rhodes; Doris de Pont; Adrian Hailwood; Adrienne Winkelmann; Angela Lewis and Yvonne Bennetti.
The dolls will be auctioned at a dinner at Pinot, Orakei in Auckland on August 9 after a tour.
Radio Lollipop provide friendly play programmes for children waiting for day clinic or accident and emergency services.
