Dancing with the MPs. Government ministers Pete Hodgson and Trevor Mallard cut loose with some unexpected and surprisingly energetic dance moves yesterday. They were making a point of course (don't politicians always?) at the launch of a nutrition and exercise programme aimed at the nation's youth. The web has been around long enough now

that you can actually look at a website and take a pretty good guess at when it was designed. Fashions change with time and what looked very cool a few years ago now seems cluttered and confused. The trend these days seems to be towards cleaner designs with lots more white space.

The memories of New Zealand's World War 2 veterans

are being collected on video, with transcripts posted online at

Nga Toa ("Many Warriors")

. This remarkable site is a labour of love for Patrick Bronte who began interviewing veterans for the project five years ago, starting with men from his hometown of Waipukurau. There's a lot more to Patrick, but the best way to find out about him and Nga Toa is to visit the site. [Hat tip
