Police have released an identikit image of a young man believed to have been at a West Auckland construction site where the body of a security guard was found last month.
A homicide inquiry was launched after the body of Charanpreet Singh Dhaliwal, 22, was found early on Friday, November 18.
A post-mortem examination revealed Charanpreet died of head injuries after being assaulted.
Detective Senior Sergeant Stan Brown said the man being sought was among a group of four males who were known to have been in the area around the time the body was discovered.
