At 3.40am on Sunday, February 29, a currency exchange business in Newmarket was robbed by two armed men, who got away with a large sum of money.
The men entered An Ying Financial Technology at 128 Broadway by smashing down a door.
One person was assaulted with the butt of a handgun and the robbers made their escape in a stolen car driven by a third man.
One offender is described as Maori or Pacific Islander, about 1.83m (6ft), of solid build with a fat face. He wore a thick grey sweatshirt, white sports shoes and a black cloth mask over his lower face.
His accomplice was European, 1.78m (5ft 10in), solid build with a red bandanna across his face. The third man was also of solid build and wore a beanie, and the car was a silver Mitsubishi Galant, BML683.
