Your voting pack, which should arrive in your letterbox between September 17 and 22, will have details of candidates for mayor, your ward and local board, as well as the candidates for your local district health board and licensing trust, if there is one.
The Auckland Council will comprise the mayor and 20 councillors elected from 13 wards. The wards are Rodney, Albany, North Shore, Waitakere, Whau, Albert/Eden/Roskill, Waitemata and Gulf, Orakei, Maungakiekie/Tamaki, Manukau, Howick, Manurewa/Papakura and Franklin. The boundaries of each ward coincide with the boundaries of one or more local boards. Under the sort out what ward you're living in
Auckland Council, there will be 21 local boards, with 149 elected local board members.
