KEY POINTS:
Louise Nicholas says yesterday's verdicts were like "deja vu" when the same three police officers who were acquitted of alleged sex crimes against her were found not guilty once more.
The woman whose allegations led to wide-ranging inquiries into the police was in court when the verdicts were read.
"I don't think it really sinks in until you walk out of that courtroom and you're in your own space and you think, 'I'm back in hell again' - it was not nice at all," Mrs Nicholas told TV One's Close Up programme.
She did not regret taking her failed court action against Mr Rickards, Brad Shipton and Bob Schollum. "I know I have done the right thing and if I had to do it all over again I would not hesitate whatsoever."
Mrs Nicholas said the love of her family helped her through her ordeal and the support from people throughout the country had been "beyond unbelievable", but it was time to move on.
"You have to - you don't let this eat away at you. You don't let it take over."
