The Ruamahanga Ramblers enjoyed the sunshine and a picturesque course when they held an event at Henley Lake in Masterton on Saturday.
Michael Hyman continued his excellent form in the 1.84km event although he had just one second to spare from the fast-finishing Tom Parker. Andrew Hyman, who was always close to the pace, was third.
The 3.75km run saw Matthew Furkert take the honours and usual walker Michael Scott clocked a pleasing time in finishing second.
The two-lap 7.5km run produced a strong effort from both Rupert Watson, who took the handicap honours, and Damian Christofis who had 26s to spare from Gavin Champion in the race for fastest time.
