Police have officially identified the two Japanese men who died in a hut fire in Te Urewera National Park over Christmas.
Detective Sergeant John Wilson, of Rotorua CIB, said the victims were Katsuya Tsuchida, a 40-year-old tourist, and Toshiya Babe, 47, an Auckland fishing guide.
