The bodies of the two homicide victims found in a house in Otumoetai,
Tauranga, over the weekend have now been formally identified.
They are Ravneet Sangha, 32 years, and Anna Sangha, 26 months.
Inspector Mike Clement of Bay of Plenty police said the bodies were formally identified by Ravneet's husband, Dev Sangha, in Auckland today, and have now been released to the family.
Inspector Clement said Police would not be commenting on the cause of death or circumstances surrounding the deaths of either victim at least until after the accused's court appearance at the Tauranga District
Court tomorrow.
A 23-year-old man has been charged with the murder of Ravneet Sangha and police have said further charges are likely.
