One of the "Westpac runaways" will stand trial in February after failing in her bid to have theft and money-laundering charges dropped.
Kara-Jo Hurring, 32, is charged with 26 theft charges for alleged transactions conducted in New Zealand of about $11,000, two of money-laundering in Macau totalling HK$1.5 million ($230,000) and two of using a document for pecuniary advantage.
Hurring and her partner Leo Gao fled New Zealand after Westpac mistakenly loaded a $10 million overdraft into Gao's business account.
