Two Huntly teenagers have pleaded guilty to aggravated cruelty to an animal after they poured glue over three caged cats and set them on fire.
Wirimu Bill Karena, 17, and Sahn Papa, 18, pleaded guilty when they appeared before a registrar in the Huntly district Court this morning.
Police have said on April 19 this year Karena and Papa found three wild cats in a humane trap in Huntly. Police said the pair poured glue over the animals before setting them on fire.
Karena was remanded on bail to re-appear in the Huntly District Court on July 6 where he will face a number of unrelated charges.
Papa was remanded on bail for sentencing on August 31 in the Huntly District Court.
