Police have released the names of the man and two children who died in a car crash in Huntly on Monday.
The coroner has completed the identification process and overseas family have been notified, police said.
The victims were: Ruben Bense Williams, 12, Jasper Tabe Williams, 14 and the boys' mother's partner Steven Andrew Phillips, 54.
They died when their rental car crossed the centreline and collided with a truck on State Highway 1. The boys' mother, Bindy Williams, and her daughter Tessa, 9, were pulled alive from the wreck and are still in Waikato Hospital.
Phillips was first violinist with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra and Williams played viola for the orchestra as a casual guest musician.
