The hunt is still on for a man who sexually attacked a young girl in Napier.
There have been no further reported sightings of a man and vehicle seen in the area of the attack on an 11-year-old girl on the Georges Drive greenbelt in Napier a week ago.
A police spokesperson said after the initial incident had been covered in news reports, two people said they had seen possibly suspicious activity in the area near the Japanese bridge, halfway between Ashridge Rd and Chambers St.
The girl was attacked as she walked along the greenbelt around 4.30pm.
Constable Steve Leonard said a woman reported seeing a male fitting the description of the offender driving a white 1980s Toyota station-wagon that day.
