Police inquiries are continuing in an effort to locate a six-year-old boy who went missing from Hamilton Public Library last night.
Senior Sergeant Tim Anderson, of Hamilton, said today police had spoken to people through the night and were confident of finding the boy, named Jayden.
NZPA understands Jayden was taken in a domestic dispute.
He was last seen at the library about 7.30pm, and is described as Caucasian and tall for his age with close cropped blond hair.
He is wearing a long sleeved red and blue tee shirt and navy blue trousers.
