The hunt is on for a gunman in Auckland.
This, after a man threatened two police officers with a handgun in Mount Wellington last night.
Police say the two officers were on patrol in Ruawai Road, when they stopped and spoke to the man who was acting in a suspicious manner just before 6.30.
The man presented a black handgun and threatened the officers before running off through residential properties.
They're looking for a man aged in his late 20s- early 30s, wearing a black fleece jacket, black pants and sneakers.
