Hamilton police are still searching for a pair of armed robbers who pointed a gun at a shopkeeper's head last week.
Ravi Khattar, 56, was closing his Tuhikaramea Superette in Hamilton when the men burst in at 8.15pm on Friday.
The brazen robbers, who have been linked to three armed robberies within 24 hours, demanded money and cigarettes from Mr Khattar.
The spree began on Thursday night when men, believed to be the same pair, entered a Super Liquor Lynden Court, Chartwell.
The men threatened the shop assistant, took cash from the till and alcohol before running into Rossister Place where police believe a vehicle was waiting.
