Bar and restaurant owners in Hamilton have enjoyed a huge weekend with the city hosting two Rugby World Cup 2011 matches.
Owner of CBD pub Matt Palmer says his bar has been packed all weekend, and from what he's heard most other pubs in the city have been the same.
He says the Fanzone was also a success for the All Blacks-Japan game on Friday night and yesterday afternoon's Wales-Samoa match.
"Both those games had big crowds in the streets watching the big screen but all the bars were full so the fanzones worked a treat," he says.
Mr Palmer says the World Cup has created a positive vibe among punters, and everyone's in good spirits.
