Firefighters were this afternoon tackling a large shed and house fire north of Auckland.
Fire Service northern communications centre shift manager Brent Dunn said the service was alerted about 11.20am following several 111 calls.
Staff arrived at the property at Okura River Rd, Okura, just north of the North Shore metropolitan area, to find a shed and a house ablaze.
Three pumps, a water tanker, fire safety officers and the Auckland fire police were at the blaze, Mr Dunn said.
Nobody was inside the house at the time the blaze began and nobody was injured.
