KEY POINTS:
More than 900,000 people moved house in the past year and the Electoral Enrolment Centre says it is having a hard time getting them sorted out for the October 13 local elections.
Murray Wicks, the centre's national manager, said that, with so many shifting house and a further 160,000 not enrolled at all, staff had quite a job to do to ensure the enrolments were correct for the local body elections.
The centre will start posting more than 2.9 million enrolment update packs today and says that anyone who doesn't get one by Wednesday isn't correctly enrolled to vote.
