Queenstown police are investigating the burglary of a house donated for use by the family and friends involved in the private search for missing Israeli tramper Liat Okin.
Miss Okin's brother Itamar Tas and a fellow searcher had left the Lakeside house overnight.
When they returned, they discovered a cellphone used by Mr Tas to contact his parents and search supporters in Israel and a PlayStation 2, including four games, had been stolen from the lounge.
