A blaze that destroyed a West Coast home overnight is being treated as suspicious.
A Fire Service spokesman said the Runanga property was engulfed by fire when crews from Rungana and nearby Cobden arrived just before 2.45am.
The Kilgour St home was unoccupied when the fire broke out.
Fire safety investigators would return to the damaged building this morning to determine the cause of the blaze.
