Fire has badly damaged a house in Onehunga, Auckland.
Twelve firefighters with three fire engines put out the fire in the single-storey house on Pleasant St.
At 4pm, a communications officer said the fire had been extinguished, but eight firefighters working from two fire engines remained at the house, dampening down hot spots.
There had been no reports of anyone being injured, he said..
