Police are warning motorists to expect delays on Whangaparoa Road north of Auckland following a house fire.
The fire service were called to the blaze about 3.37am.
No one was injured in the fire and emergency services are still at the scene.
Whangaparaoa Rd between Ladies Mile and Homestead Rd is closed and likely to remain closed until about 9am. Traffic is being diverted via Ladies Mile, Little Barrier Ave and Homestead Rd.
Police asked motorists to be patient when driving in the area and to expect some delays.
