Hospital sold for $20m

The former Napier Hospital and its prime 5ha site on the western end of the city's Bluff Hill have been sold for $20 million.

Tenders were to close today but Crown Health Financing Agency chairman Ross Tanner said last night the $20 million offer was unconditional and "too attractive to turn down". The identity of the purchaser has not been disclosed.
