South Auckland-based Stoney Bridge is missing out on the use of two champion stallions Ekraar and Storming Home because both are still in quarantine in Sydney.
Manager Peter Jenkins said it was disappointing having to cancel bookings, and would have a huge impact on next year's yearling sales.
He said it would be a loss because they would not have a crop of yearlings by each horse to put forward at the sales.
Strict measures imposed here have kept equine influenza out of New Zealand.
