Three men have been charged over the shooting of a protected fur seal in Otago on June 12, and the Department of Conservation says more charges may follow.
More dead seals have been recovered in the past few days, according to DoC.
The charges come after a fishing boat carrying seven men, including junior All Black Andrew Hore, who is not among those charged, were caught on videotape firing shots close to the rocks near Taiaroa Head.
