Wairarapa College will be hoping youthful exhuberance takes them a long way in their Netball Wairarapa premier one netball match with Collegiate at the Genesis Recreation Centre in Masterton tonight.
The star-studded Collegiate side, which includes no fewer than six Wairarapa senior reps, will have the edge on the students in both experience and skill.
So the college team, which will be spearheaded by Abby Hull, Hope Phillips and Rosie Mahoney.will need to fully utilise their ability to play the game at pace to keep anything like parity on the scoreboard.
The Collegiate v Wairarapa College game will start at 6pm and will be followed by another premier one match between Hiona and Greytown.
Hiona have enough flair to keep themselves in the match but the solidness of Greytown could be the deciding factor.
Two premier one games will also be played at the Colombo road courts in Masterton tomorrow.
That between Celtic Marist and All Blacks promises to be a closely-contested affair while St Matthews Collegiate should be too good for Featherston Black Sox..
Hoping youth will prevail
