Welding work has been completed on the fractured Maui pipeline, and the first stage of weld testing has been completed, fuelling hopes that gas will be flowing though tomorrow.
Vector says it is still important for users to limit their consumption, and only those businesses which have already been given the OK to start using gas again should do so.
