Honda has unveiled its next generation Accord, aimed to challenge the premium manufacturers.
With subtle styling tweaks, the new Accord boasts a more aggressive and sporty look. Although an evolution of the previous model, it is wider and lower than its predecessor and the 'Tourer' wagon version also incorporates a new, sleeker rear.
Engines include the debut of Honda's second generation i-DTEC diesel engine, which offers around 110kW and peak torque of 350Nm available from 2,00rpm.
Petrol engines include the 2.0-litre and 2.4-litre VTEC. All engines are matched to a 6-speed manual transmission; while both petrol engines have the option of a 5-speed automatic, and will be compliant with Euro 5 emissions standards.
