Homicide inquiry after shooting

One man is dead and another is in Dunedin Hospital after a shooting in Dunedin yesterday.

Police were called to an Argyle St in Mornington about 2pm. Detective Sergeant Malcolm Inglis confirmed a male was found dead at the house, and another was taken to hospital. Both had gunshot wounds.

A homicide inquiry has been launched.
