KEY POINTS:
The owners of five North Shore properties affected by slips last month are hoping to find out in the next few days whether the houses will be condemned.
One house, in Lingham Cres, Torbay, was condemned following the slips which happened after heavy rain.
Earthquake Commission assessors have also been looking at four other properties throughout the North Shore which were affected by slips.
One house was still vacated on Morice Place, near Lingham Cres, as were two in Mulberry Place, Glenfield, and two on Albany Highway.
They were also examining land in Birkenhead.
