KEY POINTS:
A man accused of a prolonged sex attack on a woman in her Pukekohe home goes on trial in the High Court at Auckland today.
Roger Tira Kahui, 37, faces four charges of rape, 13 of unlawful sexual connection, three of threatening to kill and seven other charges.
The charges relate to an alleged five-hour sexual attack on a 37-year-old in her own home on June 13 last year.
The offender allegedly forced his way into her home after knocking on her door asking to use the phone and made the woman keep a pillow case over her head.
The trial is set down for eight days.
