Two men who allegedly forced their way into a family's home in Manukau City, holding them hostage at gunpoint, have been captured after a 12-month manhunt.
Police found six members of the family tied up after three intruders held them hostage in their Highland Park home in September last year. The offenders had posed as policemen.
Senior Sergeant Karyn Malthus said Neil Kevin Paul, 29, was arrested after police searched a rural Tokoroa address about 3pm yesterday. Floyd Te Tai, 21, handed himself in to the Hamilton police on September 29.
