Holyoake statue bonus buy

A Wellington man has unwittingly found himself the owner of a taxpayer-funded statue of former prime minister Sir Keith Holyoake.

Roy Southward's family trust bought the State Services Commission building on Wellington's Molesworth St and discovered the statue outside goes with the property.

Protection orders mean he can't do anything with it.
