Whale Rider director Niki Caro has signed on to direct her next movie far from New Zealand.
Variety magazine says she will direct a Hollywood drama, Class Action, which centres on the first successful sexual harassment prosecution in the United States.
The movie tells the story of several women who went to work at a Minnesota iron mine in 1975.
When they were consistently harassed by male workers, they filed suit in 1984 and went on to win a landmark decision.
