The Holden Monaro will go on sale in New Zealand on April 29, priced at $63,000 for the 3.8-litre supercharged CV6 and $74,000 for the 5.7-litre CV8.
The V6 will be coupled to a four-speed gearbox only, but V8 buyers will have the option of the automatic or a six-speed manual.
The price of both cars is between $3000 and $4000 more than Holden talked about when it confirmed the Monaro would go into production. The car cost $73 million to develop.
The CV8 produces 225kW of power at 5200 rpm and 460Nm of torque at 4400 rpm. It rides on 18-inch wheels shod with low-profile 235/40 R18 tyres unique to the car.
The CV6 develops 171kW of power at 5200 rpm and 375Nm of torque at 3000 rpm. It rides on 17-inch alloys.
Both models come in a choice of seven exterior colours.
