Hit-and-run victim critical

A 23-year-old man was in a critical condition in Middlemore Hospital last night after a hit-and-run incident.

He was walking on East Tamaki Rd, Otara, when he was hit by a car at about 10.30pm.

Police said they did not have a description of the car or its driver, but were interviewing witnesses.
