Porirua police are appealing for sightings of a black four-wheel-drive involved in a hit-and-run that hospitalised a cyclist this morning in the Hutt Valley.
The incident happened on State Highway 58, Haywards Hill, near Moonshine Road.
Police said the vehicle was last seen heading along the highway towards the Hutt Valley.
The cyclist was taken to hospital in a stable condition.
