A hit-and-run driver who injured two cyclists in Northland last night has handed himself into police.
The man drove into a group of cyclists on Otaika Valley Rd around 6.30pm last night and did not stop.
A 15-year-old boy and 39-year-old man were taken to Whangarei Hospital with minor and moderate injuries.
The man was discharged from hospital this morning.
The pair were cycling with a group of six and were about to turn into Cemetary Rd when they were hit.
Police are continuing their inquiries into the crash and would like anyone who witnessed the crash to come forward.
