Police say that the death of a man whose body was found in a house in the Auckland suburb of Hillsborough last month is being treated as suspicious.
Damien Loder Allen, 33, was found dead at the property on September 24 after 111 calls from others at the address.
A post mortem showed that the death was due to a head injury and police are awaiting the results of toxicology tests.
Detective Inspector Scott Beard said a team of 16 staff had been trying to piece together the movements and activities of people in the house over the 24 hours leading up to the discovery of Mr Allen's body.
This included talking to occupants of the address and other associates in an effort to establish what took place.
