Hillary documentary a winner

A radio documentary on the life of Sir Edmund Hillary has won a gold medal at the New York Festival Radio Awards.

The medal went to It's One Thing To Climb A Mountain, by veteran producer Jack Perkins who runs Radio New Zealand's Spectrum documentary unit.
