Highways reopened after crashes

State Highways 1 and 16 north of Auckland have reopened after two accidents this morning.

One person was seriously injured when two vehicles collided on SH1 at Wayby Valley closing both lanes.

Traffic was diverted onto SH16 but that road was also closed when a truck hit an overbridge on the Kaipara Flats Rd.

Police said both highways had now reopened.
