Extremely high river levels have made it difficult to do a full search for the body of a man who fell off a Hamilton bridge on Saturday night.
Deon Bruce Cowdrey, 21, fell about 25m into the Waikato River from the Victoria Bridge about 11.20pm.
Waikato police spokesman Andrew McAlley said sending in the police dive squad was considered, "but the river levels are so high that it would be putting the squad members in danger".
