Eighteen teams of Auckland hospitality workers switched their aprons for heels and wigs to race along Sale St for the Kids Can charity yesterday.
The race, called a Heel-A-Thon, was to raise money for the Kids Can Telethon Big Night In. It saw the men strap on heels, and in many cases wigs and dresses, while the women donned their favourite heels for the 50m race.
