Hercules lands at RNZ Air Force Base Auckland with one engine shut down

An Air Force Hercules made a safe landing in Auckland, despite one engine being shut down.

The C-130H Hercules made the landing at Base Auckland after a "fire indication", the Royal New Zealand Air Force said in a tweet.

"As standard practice Air Force Rescue Fire and emergency services responded," the RNZAF said.

The cause of the incident was being investigated.
