Bubble trouble
When Jacinda Ardern responded to Australia's temporary closing of their border to green zone quarantine-free Kiwis, she seemed shocked and critical of the response.
Is her pro-bubble stance borne out of desperation to please the tourism sector? At what cost? Is the risk necessary?
Reserving bubbles until vaccines are proven effective and are actually here would be wiser.

Stadium plan
We need a replacement for Eden Park for concerts and sporting events. Why not take over Avondale Racecourse, which is closing, and build a replica of Perth's Optus Stadium? It is flat land, close to trains and buses, plus further away from houses unlike the many homes that suffer during Eden Park concerts. It could be used for Black Caps matches plus all Warriors and All Black games besides concerts. Then sell Eden Park for high-rise apartments to help pay for it.
