Waitakere police are appealing for information following alleged indecent assaults on female passengers on the early morning Flyer bus service.
Police have received several reports of a man placing his hand on the legs of female passengers during the journey into Auckland City. Witnesses told police the man has positioned himself where he has been able to touch the back of a female passenger through their seat.
The incidents have occurred on the 09 Flyer bus service which departs Palomino Dr, Henderson, and arrives at Britomart at 8.15am.
The man is described as of Indian-descent, aged around 25, of medium build with short to medium-length dark, curly hair.
His victims are from various ethnicity, including Indian, Fijian Indian, European and South African, the majority of which are in their 20s and 30s.
Police believe a large number of women have been affected by the inappropriate behaviour of the offender and have urged anyone who has experienced such behaviour to contact Constable Rob Campbell at the Henderson Police Station.
