Students starting out in full-time Ucol degree programmes this year can apply for $5000 scholarships.
Ucol chief executive Leeza Boyce says the scholarships provide students with financial support to begin study in high demand areas such as web design, IT, business, and design.
"Degrees are often required or preferred in these areas, and we want to help reduce the financial barrier to tertiary study at degree level."
New Zealand citizens and permanent residents are eligible.
The scholarships provide financial assistance for three years of study and are available for Ucol degree programmes including the Bachelor of Applied Business Management, Bachelor of Information and Communication Technology, Bachelor of Visual Imaging, Bachelor of Computer Graphic Design, and Bachelor of Design and Arts.
