A helicopter has winched out two snorkellers who swum into danger on the Coromandel.
Emergency services were alerted about 5:45 when the men didn't return home after it's thought they went snorkelling in the Pauanui conservation area.
A police spokesperson says they are currently stranded on a bluff and a Coromandel Westpac Rescue Helicopter winched them to safety.
