Helicopter fleet dwindles

The Royal New Zealand Air Force's fleet of 13 Iroquois helicopters is down to 11 after two machines were mothballed as preparations continue for a new fleet of eight NH90 machines.

The first is expected to arrive this year and all the fleet, expected to cost $771 million, are scheduled to be in service by 2013.
